If you moved or changed your name
Tell the county board when you move or change your name.[1] It is best to do this before Election Day.[1] Call 314-615-1800 with questions.[6]
You moved within St. Louis County
If you are still on the voter list, you can still vote.[2] On Election Day, go to the polling place for your new address, or to a central polling place.[1][2] Update your address there and vote.[1][2] You tell the election judges your new address, out loud or in writing.[2]
You moved to St. Louis County from another Missouri county
If you are still registered at your old address, you can update your address on Election Day.[2][1] Do it in person at the St. Louis County Board of Elections office.[2][1] You must show a photo ID.[2][4] See What ID to bring.
You moved to Missouri from another state
You need to fill out a new voter registration form.[1] The deadline for the November 3, 2026 election was October 7, 2026.[5]
You changed your name
- Tell the county board before the election, or tell the election judges at your polling place.[1]
- After you tell the election judges, you can vote one time under your old name.[1][3]
- The county board updates your record and sends you a new voter card.[1]
