Registration deadlines
The deadline for November 3, 2026 has passed
The last day to register to vote in the November 3, 2026 general election was Wednesday, October 7, 2026.[1]
For most voters in Missouri, the deadline is the fourth Wednesday before an election.[2] A mailed form must be postmarked by that day.[3]
If you missed it
- If you register now, you can vote in later elections.[2]
- If you are already registered and moved, you may still be able to vote.[4] See If you moved or changed your name.[4]
Military voters who just came home
Some members of the military, and people who just finished a job overseas, can register late.[2] This is for people who were discharged, came back from deployment, or left a job outside the United States after the deadline.[2] They can register in person at the county board until 5 p.m. on the Friday before the election.[2] They must bring papers that show they qualify.[2] See Military and overseas voters.
Registering for future elections
You can register online, by mail or in person.[3] Start on the Secretary of State's Register to Vote page.
